General Info: East Bend is a town northeastern in Yadkin County. Hwy 67 runs through middle of East Bend which is an artery to Winston Salem, it takes around 30 minutes to travel from East Bend to downtown Winston Salem. The population was 659 at the 2000 census. It is a Piedmont Triad community. East Bend is part of the Yadkin Valley wine region. The nearest winery is Flint Hill Vineyards, which is located south of town and opened in 2005. Yadkin Islands Park, part of Pilot Mountain State Park, is located about two miles north of town.
